As a patient, how do I get my prescription?

Your healthcare provider has sent your prescription to Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy. Once processed, your prescription will be delivered to you.

  1. Once your prescription is received, Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy will begin processing.
  2. Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy will verify your insurance benefits and work with your provider to obtain any needed authorizations.
  3. Once coverage is confirmed, an Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy representative will reach out to you to schedule your prescription delivery and address any questions or concerns that you have about your therapy.
  4. Once delivery is scheduled, the prescription is filled and delivered directly to you, quickly and conveniently.
  5. Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy will reach out to you to schedule recurring deliveries as needed.
  6. Please call 1-800-320-2112 to check status, ask questions or to speak with a pharmacist.
